12/30 Psalm 37:7

"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him..." -Psalm 37:7 (NIV)

Hmm... It is so hard to be patient. But I am trying, and I have learned lately the longer you are patient, good things come out of it (most of the time). I am gonna need this verse in the coming year. Things I want to do with my life, and things I don't know that are coming. I know are gonna take patience, so maybe if I start preparing now... it won't be so hard. HA! Well, it's worth a try.

11/30 Matthew 23:37

Matthew 23:37 NKJV

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

So... I can't talk about the verse much. It goes with the picture, my dad quoted this verse when we were watching the hen with her Chicks. It is very fitting, and to think about God saying that to somoeone, man its awesome.... I am at youth posting from my phone! Eeee... its exciting to me. And since I know Travis will secretly read this... Travis, you are awesome! (And it was a mistake letting me have your number)

10/30 Psalm 42:1

"As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God." -Psalm 42:1

So... I am gonna be completely honest, this isn't one of those verses that jumped out at me today. I Googled "verse about nature" and this is one that came up. I like this verse tho!! And the song...

Well my day was very good today, got a new lens this morning! (thanks Dad & Mom) Then I spent the afternoon out in The Sink, taking pictures of wonderful people... I don't know them to well, but they are related to Mrs. Daisy so they have to have some kind of awesome in them! Now I am cuddled on the couch editing pictures and watching a Christmas movie.

9/30 John 8:12

Jesus said: "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.  John 8:12

I didn't have a post yesterday because, after about 10 hours at Seaworld, your brain gets fried, and I had the worst headache I have had in years. Anyway, had a great day. The verse... uhh I love it! And well, I have come to the conclusion that I love the whole Bible!! Which is probably good... I have lived this verse, there are times when I am so sad, and so alone feeling that just maybe I think about something about Jesus, or I see my Bible laying on my bed, or my Dad walks in (I know he's not God, and I am not saying that, but he always has the right thing to say, and I think its his "Daddy" wisdom that GOD gives fathers) . But I follow a great God, and I never walk in darkness!!

Oh... the picture is from Seaworld. Thats the Sea of Trees!

8/30 Ecc. 3:2-8

So when I first read this passage, I was at youth and Cheyenne and I were supposed to be answering questions about the first 3 Chapters of Ecclesiastes, and this distracted us with it's awesomeness... Not sure if we ever finished those questions. Hmm... Anyway, I had a really loooong day today. I went with Dad to South Fl. And I never fell asleep, which I am quite proud about that, but I am so tired now, we were gone for 14 hours. So, no picture today... you just get this Gimped out version of the verses. Big day tomorrow! :D

7/30 1 Peter 1:24-25

Love the little riddles spoken in the Bible, this being one them. I always think of this verse around winter time, seeing the leaves fall (well some of the leaves, this is Florida) and watching the grass die, reminds me of how each generation is around for only a short time, but God has been around forever! And always will be! Eee... It makes me so happy!!

"All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And the flower falls away. But the word of the LORD endures forever." - 1 Peter 1:24-25 (ESV)

6/30 Proverbs 22:6

"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it." -Proverbs 22:6

Took this picture of Allison today, and thought of this verse. I am blessed to have parents who have been Christians pretty much my whole life, when we started going to church, my parents were faithful. My parents have lived this verse, and I am so thankful for that!! I pray that I will be like them one day.

5/30 Matthew 4:4

So tonight at youth we read Matthew 4, love this passage. When the devil tempts Jesus, his comeback is scripture, but then devil fires back with scripture, then of course Jesus just burns him. The way he uses scripture, He is Jesus, he makes the scripture!! To me it is an example of witnessing, and how to use the scripture. I don't know I just love it. (this also had nothing to do the lesson)

4/30 Psalm 18:2

"The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer..." -Psalm 18:2

I didn't have time to take one during the day... so a lil editing and this is what you get. Love this verse! It speaks to so many people, I try to remember this verse... but I still always try to stand on my own, to get by in life with having the Lord as my rock, Why do I do such things?

I am editing a photoshoot from tonight, and getting stoked for my shoot tomorrow!!!!

3/30 Nahum 1:5

"The mountains quake before him, The hills melt, and the earth heaves at his presence, Yes, the world and all who dwell in it." -Nahum 1:5

This shows how powerful our God is. It's amazing... read this and then just look around you and the most beautiful and fragile things were created by this powerful person! It's hard to imagine. But our God is great.

We got our Christmas tree tonight, first real one in a long time. We didn't go till after dark, so not the best lighting. But I love how the picture turned out. I loved walking around and smelling that wonderful smell of fresh trees! I am now starting to get the Christmas feeling. Now to attempt to make a prop...

2/30 Ecc. 7:1

"A good name is better than precious ointment..." - Ecclesiastes 7:1

This verse is my favorite verse, I love it. It seems to me that people nowadays don't care about a name, or being kind, they just do whatever it takes to make money and have things of this world. They just step on top of God's word. I try to live by this, I fail at times but I will always have God by my side.

1/30 Psalm 119:105

So, I have always wanted to do a 365 but I know I could never keep up with it. I have also realized I do not give enough of my time to God. So... to handle both of those things. I have come up with an idea, 30 days of Bible verses. One creative picture involving a bible verse. Will I be able to keep up with it? I have no idea, but I am going to try... The weather today didn't want to allow me to do the picture I wanted, but I am happy with this.

"You are lamp to my feet and a light to my path." -Psalm 119:105
